Men's Club Honors Past Presidents

The 2007 Men's Club honored it's past presidents with a plaque
that will hang in the foyer by the usher's table as you enter the church.
The past presidents who were present at the awards ceremony were:

Bill Naughton and Mike Dudas

This plaque can be seen as you enter the church directly across from the Sacristy.

Our ongoing project:

Sending care packages to the troops in Iraq

Each month the parishioners from Queen of Peace donate care items that Jeff Smith and his crew from the Men's Club package and ship to our troops who are defending our freedoms and doing their part to make the world that God created a better place.  Below are some photos of some of the troops enjoying the Christmas packages you all donated.  Keep up the good work.  All the soldiers enjoy receiving your packages, well wishes and prayers.

The Men's Club is an organization consisting of ALL men of the parish 18 years of age and older.  Our primary function is fellowship and supporting the needs of our parish espically our  Youth Ministries projects.  We meet on the 2nd Monday of each month at 7PM in the social hall.  Click here to read our By-Laws

Our 'official cook' for our meetings is non other than that crazy Cajun Hank "Boudreaux" Babin - Our beloved Deacon.  Hank always has a special meal prepared for us to enjoy.

The funds we raise through Christmas Tree Sales, our Annual Golf Tournament and other fund raising functions through the year are primarily used  to supporting our  youth.

If you are not currently an active member of the Men's Club please let this be your personal invitation to come and join us!  You'll wonder why it took you so long to attend!  If you have any questions about the Men's Club please send Chuck an email message.
